Daniel and Alexa

· Metacrisis, People

Some people change your life from up close - and others do it from a distance.

Four years ago, I first heard Daniel Schmachtenberger speak, and it was the beginning of a new chapter for me. A lightbulb moment … followed by intense confusion … followed by a gradual [never-ending] process of discovery and exploration.

I hadn’t listened to Daniel for a while - until today, when I lost myself in his wondrous conversation with Alexa Firmenich.

If you’re familiar with Daniel’s work, this conversation goes deep into things that are often hinted at in other interviews he has given, but rarely covered in this depth. It’s beautiful. [And good, and true].

And if you’re not familiar with his work, then I recommend this anyway - it’s a delightful, profound, and uplifting conversation.

Listen on Spotify - or read more about the episode on the Lifeworlds podcast site.

PS I was listening to it while walking along a path by a small stream - accompanied for a few brief moments by the vivid blue flash of a kingfisher. I didn’t get a pic of the bird - but this old gent was moving a little slower.
