Overstory and the Mother Tree

· Life

I’m reading both of these at the moment, and they make a wonderful pairing.

Overstory is fiction … it’s about people, with trees woven into the story.

Finding the Mother Tree is non-fiction … it’s about trees, with people woven into the story.

The idea of mycelial connections runs through - and between - both books, and at times, I can’t quite remember which characters [human or otherwise] are from which book. It’s a delightful feeling, and seems to be making both books even more enjoyable.

It’s got me wondering if there are other good fiction/non-fiction combos I might consider reading in tandem?
